LINDA NEWSON

My name is Linda Newson and I was born in Toronto in 1958. I am the middle child of 7. Being blessed with a large family has taught me how to love, share, and respect others. I have learned how to strive to be better, compromise and the true meaning of commitment. All of these qualities are visible in my day to day life at home and at work. I have been married for 25 years and was employed with Canadian Tire for 26.

In 1998 I accepted a job transfer and relocated from Toronto to Kemptville. While employed with Canadian Tire my job description included several managerial positions involving all aspects of Retail Operations progressing to Administrative, Financial, Contract Negotiation and Asset Management. After exhausting the opportunities to grow any further at retail level within the Canadian Tire family and not wanting to move back to Toronto I decided it was time to take on a new challenge which brings me to where I am today.

I have always had an interest in real estate and the housing market. With my experience in contract negotiations, dealing with the public and my families’ background in the construction industry it makes Real Estate an excellent career choice for me.
