Hi my name is Raul Gonzalez, I am graduated as Chemical Engineer but life made some changes and since 1991, got into Sales, realizing that I really enjoy being with people, so After 13 years in Sales of different issues (PC's, Mobiles, Printers, Car&Medical Care Insurance, Bottled Water, Pools, Honda Vehicles, etc). I decided to start real estate business in September 1st 2004 at Century 21 office in Chapala-Ajijic, Jalisco Mexico. First year, was very tough, because I moved from Mexico City, so I started from the scratch and I didn't know any subdivision, any people and any about real estate business. But after the Century 21 training courses, working in a daily basis, making open houses going to all caravan tours (2 each month), and after two very tough years, I got an award from Century 21 Headquarters in Mexico City being No 9 in Sales Nation Wide and a Centurion Top Producer.
In 2005 I got into the Top 100 sales producers nation wide, in 2006 I jumped up into place 59, then 2007, I received a Centurion Top Producer award, from Century 21 head quarters, after got #9 sales position nation wide out of 1,500 people. 2008 and 2009 was a very though time, market slow down quite a bit, buyers turn into more rational ones, no impulsive at all, the good all days has gone. This 2010 looks like is starting heading up, more active than the 2 previous years.
In April 8th 2010, I quit working for Century 21 Chapala, after 6 years and looking for a more dynamic enterprise focused on results and with a strong team work, so, I decided to start working for Ajijic Real Estate, Top sales real estate company in this area.
The year 2011 was a tough one, nevertheless, I finished as #1 Sales Realtor in my office, over 3 Million usd production, half listings, half Sales?.
My First year in Ajijic Real Estate, was a great one, I signed about 30 listings and I sold about 21, from April 12, 2010 to April 12, 2011, and the best deal was a double dip for a Big Home for $665,000 usd at Raquet Club, and I am still working pretty hard in this though market.
