Dolores Woods

I was born in New York, but moved to the Chicago suburbs in High School. Attended the Art Institute of Chicago, and Northern Illinois Univ. Followed my parents to California and fell in love with Ventura. I ran a restaurant and catering business for 25 years and was able to use my artistic talents as well as my business savvy. We grew the business and sold it in 2000. Through that business experience I discovered I was an execellent problem solver. This has helped me in Real Estate as well. I also love working with the public and am very service minded. I will go out of my way to help, and want to make the whole experience a pleasant one. When not working I love the outdoors, hiking, swimming, camping, gardening, etc. I also enjoy the arts, going to live theatre, movies, music (husband is a professional touring musician), books. At present my goals are to educate myself about website design and marketing, and to start writng that cookbook I've been promising to write for years.

I have been licensed for over six years, but before that I bought and sold my own real estate. I have my senior real estate specialist designation, and am technically savvy. I enjoy taking classes to add to my knowledge of the business because I enjoy the learning process. I have experience with residential income properties, agricultural land, condos, newly constructed projects, and resale homes.
