Amy cares deeply about every
client she works with, helping
them get the very latest and
best information to make sound
buying and selling decisions.
Amy’s commitment to her family
and love for the outdoors is what
brought her here many years ago.
It was several years ago on a cold December morning in Minneapolis
that Amy Smits, her husband Kevin, and their two children Delaney
and MacKenzie, packed their car and set off for their annual winter
vacation to the wide-open skiing wonderland of Colorado. Although they
had been taking this trip every winter for the last six years, this trip was
going to be different. This trip would be permanent - and once they settled
in Summit County, they never looked back.
Family Ties
Amy and her husband made the decision to move to the mountains
because they both place the highest priority on raising their family where
the possibilities are wide open. Living in Colorado has enabled Amy and
her family to enjoy everything life has to offer. As an avid mountain bike
rider, she introduced her children to the sport and takes them on 35-mile
rides from the Vail Pass to Silverthorne during the summer. “Out here,
everything is wide open, including the future,” says Amy. “There’s nowhere
else I’d rather raise my children and no better place to work hard helping
others succeed.”
Energy And Commitment
Amy’s strong commitment to seeing her family grow up in a place of
unlimited potential says a lot about her. That, and her passion for helping
people fi nd new opportunities here are
what make her one of Summit County’s
most respected real estate professionals. Her
high energy and commitment to helping her
clients make informed real estate decisions
are her priority. Although Amy has an
easy-going style and takes whatever time is
necessary to listen to her client’s needs, she is
also a strong negotiator that works tirelessly
for her clients to help them maximize their
home sale or purchase.
Delivering Value
Sharing the mountain lifestyle with others in the
community is something Amy cherishes. “Nothing
makes me happier than working with families to help
them build a better future,” says Amy. “That’s why I
keep my fi nger on the pulse of everything happening
here – from the local business environment to
individual neighborhood price trends that can better
help my clients make the right decisions.” It’s all part of
what makes Amy such a pleasure to work with.
