After moving to Colorado in the fall of 2002 I knew I wanted to not just live in this beautiful place but to flourish every day. By helping others obtain their dreams of owning a home I gain tremendous satisfaction knowing that I was privileged to have a working hand in making that happen. My goal is to serve you through communication, education and enthusiasm.
I began my career in Real Estate as a New Home Consultant for local and national builders. Learning about the entire process from planning the community to the certificate of occupancy gave me a unique understanding of how a neighborhood is developed and how a home is built, as well as the importance of quality products and construction. The new home experience also gave me a good understanding of how builders offer incentives and how that can affect the price of your home! Whether you’re buying or selling understanding the market is critical. Education is something that I take seriously and attend classes regularly. I have a certification for REOS and SFR. These are specialized education for bank owned properties and sellers that are having difficulty making their mortgage payments. Helping people get out of a bad situation can be very gratifying. I am also an authorized HUD Realtor®.
I'm very active in the community participating as a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the Colorado Association of Realtors® (CAR) and the Aurora Association of Realtors® (AAR). At the local level I have been involved as a Director for the Board at AAR, a member and Vice Chair of the Government Affairs Committee and a Liaison for the Builder-Realty Council of Metropolitan Denver. I am currently a “new” member of South Metro Denver Realtors® Association (SMDRA). My two favorite community programs are the Denver Rescue Mission and the Habitat for Humanity. The joys that I get from serving those efforts are unmatched.
