It was while Camille Taylor, Broker/Owner of ERA Taylor Realty Group was attending college in Westchester County, New York, that she became involved in Real Estate. While in her Junior year, a good friend introduced her to the fascinating world of Real Estate Investments. In the following years after college, she proceeded to grow in her knowledge of real estate and began to invest. In 1979, she moved to Hawaii with her husband, Robert, and lived in Waikiki aboard the L'Allegro, a 36' sailboat. Their real estate investments helped support their simple island lifestyle.

After three years of island living, and then taking time to travel across the United States, visiting and enjoying the diversity of each region and time zone, Robert and Camille decided to take a one year sabbatical and traveled extensively throughout the globe, being fortunate to visit most of the seven wonders of the World and other historic sites such as the Berlin Wall (which thankfully no longer exists), the Swiss Alps, and the Black Forest.

In 1982 they headed back to New York and began in earnest to grow their Real Estate business. They wrote their first business plan on the back of a restaurant place mat and proceeded to implement their plan. Over the next several years they invested in, developed, bought and sold residential and commercial properties. They also handled rentals and property mangement.

In 1992 Robert and Camille moved to Mystic, Connecticut with their son William where they continued in Real Estate. In 2004 Robert, Camille and William, known as Team Taylor, opened ERA Taylor Realty Group, in Mystic Connecticut, a Full Service Real Estate Brokerage. In 2010, after many successful years, they moved their office from downtown Mystic to their current location at 232 Greenmanville Avenue, Mystic, in a dynamic location right off of Interstate I-95 at exit 90, The Mystic Seaport & Aquarium exit.

The 232 Greenmanville Avenue location was a masonary warehouse which Robert, Camille, and William converted into professional office space with plenty of parking and which is now the home of ERA TAYLOR REALTY GROUP.
