DARCIE DUNCAN

Darcie Duncan, a native and life-long resident of Anna Maria Island, founded and opened Duncan Real Estate in 1998, after eight years as a sales associate and broker associate. Darcie's success has stemmed from lots of hard work, but mostly from early beginnings which taught her about team work: as a high school softball star, and later working for her mother in the real estate business. She's also big on community involvement and on building relationships, which is why her company motto is building relationships, resources, for life. Darcie's hobbies include diving, surfing, cooking and wine collecting, but her passion is fishing. She has participated in numerous tournaments and proudly displays her largest catch, a 250 lb blue marlin caught in 2002.

 Specialized in residential sales, with particular emphasis on second home and vacation properties, attaining associate of the year 6 consecutive years
 Attained strong property management experience by assisting in the management of over 100 vacation and investment properties.
 Developed strong pricing skills as a consequence of analyzing sales data and neighborhood specific opportunities.

2001 – Present Broker-Owner, Duncan Real Estate, Inc., Anna Maria, FL
 Purchased a commercial building and opened her own brokerage at 310 Pine Avenue, increasing closed transaction volume from $5 million in 2001 to $50 million in 2008.
 Developed “Duncan Vacation Rentals and Property Management,” growing this department to its current management size of almost 175 short term and long term rental properties throughout Manatee County.
 Manages a team of 13 to include 2 full time property managers, bookkeeper and an executive assistant.
 Continues to list and sell properties, and has personally overseen and marketed over $40 million in inventory.
 Holds strong knowledge of distressed real estate to include the process of Short Sales and Foreclosure along with investment analysis of income producing property.
