DENNIS KOTASKA

I have the great benefit of growing up as the third generation in real estate, and coming home to the west coast of Florida that I have enjoyed with my family since I was a child. My grandfather was a builder in the 30s and 40s and my parents had their own brokerage that I was a part of for many years in the Chicago area. I recall spending at least one month each winter on Anna Maria Island and in the Sarasota area with my grandparents and parents as the gulf coast became my second home.
My love of assisting people to realize their dream of home ownership or finding just the right home that would suit the needs of my clients ultimately led me to building new homes and the bigger picture of building new communities in the Chicago and the gulf coast area of Florida. In my 39 year career I have had something to do with the sale and building of over 10,000 homes. This passion culminated in opening American Homes in North Port, becoming a Certified Green Builder to offer the best building practices for you and our planet and being involved in every aspect of a building company. I feel I have come full circle now as a 3rd generation broker, and I joined the RE/MAX Alliance Group whose passion and integrity are aligned with my way of thinking and working with you our customer.
My lovely wife Terri has been my guiding light supporting me with my passion of what I enjoy and do best, helping people with their real estate needs. Terri as a sales and marketing executive for new homes and condominiums in Sarasota, is a true partner that I have been married to for over 24 years.
