K. Bernard Strong

Mound Bayou Mississippi is located in the heart of the Delta and is my birthplace. I am very proud of my Delta heritage and I defintely love the blues. I was actually born at a clinic located on the "Blues Highway" ( Highway 61) which is actually Beale Street in Memphis.

At 11 years old, my family moved to the south side of Chicago where I attended Henderson Middle and Lindblom Technical High School. At Lindblom, I lettered in football, elected President of the Senior Class and voted Most Popular.

Upon graduating, I headed south to Tennessess to attend Knoxville College and while in Tennessee met my lovely wife. On graduating from Knoxville College, I headed further south to Atlanta to attend Atlanta University concentrating in Finance. While there, I secured a job at a major Atlanta bank. I maintained a banking career for 10 years and then made the decision to enter real estate. I have not looked back. Entering real estate is the second best decision I have ever made. The best decision I have made is marrying my wife.

In my spare time I thoroughly enjoy performing as a spoken word artist. I love to read and write poetry as well. My active hobbies include golf (handicap 12 ;-)) and deep sea fishing.

The most important aspect of who I am is my family. I am a proud husband of one wife (Wanda) , proud father of one child (Joshua) and proud grandfather of one grandchild (Breanna).

I have enjoyed over 20 years as a full time Realtor in metro Atlanta. Over this span of time, numerous families have accumulated wealth and provided adequate housing for their families. I am proud to have been a part of their individual successes. I can do the same for you
Prior to my real estate career, I was employed as a financial analyst and commercial loan officer for 10 years and serve as President of the Atlanta Urban Bankers Association. My financial background has been a tremendous asset to me and my clients. I know the numbers!!!

In 2004, I formed The Strong Realty Group. This venture has provided the opportunity to pursue another passion which is coaching and teaching. I coach a group of agents and share the knowledge and experience I have obtained over the years. My mission is for The Strong Realty Group to be recognized as the most professional, service oriented an knowledgeable real estate agents in the state of Georgia.

In addition. I am an instructor with Metro Brokers Academy and train over 300 agents annually.
