I am a graduate of Geneva High School, but have lived for over 10 years in the Lake Holiday/Somonauk/Sandwich area. I attended a community college with a well rounded curriculum and have also owned my own business before settling into my real estate career. I have been an active member in my children's schools and the community itself over the years. I believe in continual education and refinement of the skills necessary to best serve my clients.
I first earned my real estate license in 1999. I enjoy working with all types of buyers, from first time home buyers, to investors, to vacation home buyers, to retirees, to commercial entrepreneurs. It is very rewardng to me to bridge the gap between people and their dreams of homeownership. In addition, educating people through the home buying process is something I take very seriously. Buying a home, while a very exciting experience, can be overwhelming and intimidating. I believe it is my responsibility to lessen the stress for my clients as much as I possibly can. With a background in business, I enjoy the marketing aspects of working with homeowners in the selling of their homes. My focus is internet marketing, as 85% of the buyers in our area start on the web first. I direct all my marketing to the specific homesite with a personal .com address, such as www.123YourHome.com, on every listing. For instance, I place a personalized .com address sign rider on the yard sign. This allows potential buyers to go directly to the home, view the details, and log in to see the virtual tour and interior photos. This also allows homeowners to see how many people are viewing their listing on the web. As with home buyers, it is equally as important to not only educate, but to keep in constant communication with home sellers regarding current conditions, showing responses, and any questions or concerns they may have.
