Quality
To excel in the service to her clients and to stay ahead in a very competitive field, Pamela attends many real estate seminars and classes. She is licensed in Maryland and District of Columbia and will soon be in Virginia. Pamela holds the prestigious Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Internet Professional (ePro), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), NAR's Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist (SFR), and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations and is working on the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Results
Pamela will be by your side before, during and after the sale—or just to provide advice when you need it. She is a dynamo, working hard at her profession. It would be difficult to find a REALTOR® with a more enthusiastic or positive attitude. Pamela loves what she does — and it shows! She will thoroughly research everything involved in a transaction and not overlook any detail. She thrives on challenges. Clients can always reach her easily and can count on a quick, helpful response. Pamela treats every transaction as though it were her own. When it comes time to buy or sell your most precious asset, your home, can you think of anything more reassuring to go by?
Experience
Pamela has a background of public service, mostly public relations, administration and research. She graduated cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia with a BA in Journalism and is pursuing her MS in Public Relations Management at the University of Maryland University College. She is a 15-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, where she served as a Public Affairs Officer. Real estate came naturally for Pamela, especially with a family history of investing in real estate and a husband who is a home improvement contractor. Her background and experience, combined with her superb training through Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc., prepared Pamela to handle the most complicated real estate transactions. Along with her insight into the Washington, DC Metropolitan area as a fifth-generation Washingtonian, Pamela is your choice for putting together smooth, trouble-free transactions!
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a real estate professional, I have also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I have found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I have always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They have also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
So when you decide that you would like to buy or sell a home in the Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, or St. Mary's Counties, Baltimore City, or Washington DC areas, please contact me.
Personal
Pamela has been married 19 years to James "Mike" Chandler. They have three wonderful children: Damon (17), Nicole (15), and Alexis (14). And, as her friends and family will attest, she is an extremely loyal Washington Redskins fan! Her hobbies include, of course, watching the Redskins during football season; visiting her family's home in Highland Beach, Maryland; reading or watching science fiction (her favorite show is "Star Trek: Deep Space 9"); and traveling.
