I am a live long resident of Biloxi, Mississippi. My work career starting at a local credit union for 5 years, then at 21 years old moved on to the casino industry (at the time - new to the coast) for 12 years, worked in accounting, marketing and management. Wanting a change, I decided to try real estate, but before diving in head first I wanted to be an assistant to a broker or office manager. After Hurricane Katrina my father met Barbara Allen, she owned her own real estate company which was previously located in the Vieux Marche mall (downtown Biloxi). Her business received water and damage from the hurricane, but that did not stop her. She found a new location. My father mentioned to her that I was interested in real estate, we met and she offered me a job as her assistant. We worked from her home for three months, until the new place was complete. I received my real estate license, after Barbara forced me (ha ha), in August 2006. I greatly enjoy selling real estate, and it is not about the money. It is about seeing the joy on someone's face when they get the home or property they want. I have worked with a few big investors, which is fun putting the "big deals" together. Overall, I like seeing the coast being rebuild - that is what makes me truly happy.
