For the past 20 years, the real estate business has been very much a part of my life. My stepfather, Barry Colyer, and mother, Karen Colyer, began working as a real estate team in the mid-90's, and proceeded to do so with great success through 2011. In 2006, they opened RE/MAX Traditions Real Estate in the heart of downtown Oakland in Bergen County, NJ. Throughout college and graduate school, I worked at the office as an administrative assistant. Barry was Oakland's #1 Realtor from 2000 to 2011*; he passed away from a yearlong battle with cancer in 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Karen continued to manage the office, and carried on the tradition of being Oakland's #1 Realtor*. In 2014, Karen retired from real estate.
In 2015 I joined an incredible team of professional agents at RE/MAX HomeTowne Realty in Wyckoff, NJ.
My goal is to continue my family's tradition of excellence in the local real estate market, particularly in Oakland and Ramapo River Reserve.
If you're thinking of buying or selling in Ramapo River Reserve, in Oakland, or a neighboring town, I'd welcome assisting you!
