That's why Genie has worked to attain some of the real estate industry's top professional designations. Genie is a licensed real estate broker, the highest designation for a real estate professional. She holds the nationally recognized designations of ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), E-Pro (Technology Certification Course), GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute) and Recreation and Resort Specialist (RRS). She also holds the CSP (Certified Sales Professional) designation from the National Association of Home Builders.
Personal Information . . .
A Wilmington, North Carolina native, Genie relocated several times during the 20 years her husband was in the United States Air Force. She has lived in Colorado, Virginia, Alaska and Maryland near Washington DC, but was happy to return to Wilmington in 1990. Genie's two daughters, now grown, were raised in the military so she understands the issues involved with successfully relocating a family. She has a strong empathy for families on the move and uses her experience to smooth the way for them. Genie has a BS degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland at College Park. After college, she entered a career in contracts management for Hewlett-Packard. Working closely with manufacturers and salespeople, Genie learned the importance of solid contracts. That understanding translates into strong escrows for her clients today. Now the grandmother of five, Genie enjoys spending time with her family when not serving her clients. She also likes boating, reading and walks on the beach.

Genie is a member of the Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS®, the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. These associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members adhere to the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. Outside of real estate, she is a member of the American Cancer Society's "Reach to Recovery" program.
