After receiving a bachelor's degree in psychology and M.Ed. in counseling, I spent the first 15 years of my professional career as a teacher and school counselor. Most recently, I have worked as a college administrator at an outstanding local university. In 2003, eager for a new challenge, I earned my real estate brokers license and made the decision to parlay my experience in counseling and education to home sales. In the 6 years that I have had the privilege of practicing real estate, I have gained valuable experience working with both buyers and sellers with a variety of wants and needs. In that time, I've met and worked with some fantastic people and am constantly sharpening my skills as a knowledgeable real estate agent you can count on.

I have earned a reputation for working hard to see that my clients receive the outstanding service they deserve. In a recent survey, my buyers consistently rated me "excellent" in customer service. I take pride in exceeding expectations and ensuring "win-win" situations in all my transactions.

Tax Credit

It looks like the extension of the tax credit is pretty much a done deal. This is good news for the near term, but I am sure it is not the panacea that we are all hoping for. I think that if interest rates remain reasonably low and people can get back to work, ...

Pet Odors in a House

Have you ever really wondered why it is so important for a home listed for sale to not only look good, but to smell fresh as well? I guess it really is a "no brainer". You can smell a home before you actually see the inside. If there are odors of ...

My Listing won't sell

I have a listing that I cannot sell. It is a beautiful home, priced competitively with great agent and buyer incentives, but no offers. What can I do? It's been on the market for 90 days already.
