Our family discovered Ashe County in the fall of 2004 when we bought a small vacation cottage here. In December 2005, we came ashore after living aboard and cruising on our sailboat "Yamana" for over 2 years, sold her to friends and arrived here for a white Christmas. We liked it so much up here, that we simply have never left to go back to city life!

I became a licensed realtor in the fall of 2006, and commenced work in January 2007, but I really do have a lifetime of experience in real estate from the investment and/or development perspective, both as a VP/CFO of a large privately held real estate company and also as a chartered accountant (NZ Equivalent of a CPA) with clients who were involved with real estate investment and trading, back in NZ, before moving to the USA in 1987.

I am a member of the High Country Association of Realtors covering Ashe, Watauga and Avery Counties, but I have listed and/or sold real estate in Alleghany and Wilkes Counties as well....I cover a lot of ground for my clients, and am happy to work for you too!
