Gene Hammonds has been a licensed Texas real estate broker since 1973. He holds both the (CRB) Certified Residential Broker designation and the (CRS) Certified Residential Specialist designation. After a 13 year career with Gulf Oil Company, he moved back to his native Houston from New York to become a real estate agent in 1973. After 20 years in Houston, Gene and Clara relocated their real estate business to the Texas hill country and started Highland Lakes Real Estate in Lago Vista. The company celebrated its 13th anniversary in October 2006. Gene has extensive experience in development, commercial, investment and ranch property as well as his residential specialty
