People may advise you to grill your agent on all kinds of parameters, pick an agent with strange letter designations after their name or million dollar producer tag lines. If your agent is a million dollar producer but is too busy to return your calls, e-mails or takes calls during your meetings, you don’t need them.
I have found that most people just want personal attention to their needs, honest and fair dealings, responsiveness, accuracy, courtesy, follow up and experience to get the job done.
I started my real estate career after a long career as a customer service manager & knew that the type of superior service I provided would be welcomed. Moving to a rural area raising horses brought me another wealth of information on what to look out for in country homes, farms, ranches and acreage.
You can hire someone who cares about their zillion dollar production numbers or someone who puts you number one, has been in the trenches, cares about you, your situation and your interests.
