Barbara Birt

I came to the Virgin Islands in 2003. Having lived around the country, as well as three years in Europe, I am happy to call St. Thomas home. My professional credentials include journalism - broadcast and print - as well as years of non-profit work as a fundraiser. Here on St. Thomas I also worked as admission director for Antilles School. I came to real estate in 2007 courtesy of a friend who had the audacity to open her own agency during a down market, and who has since built Sea Glass Properties into one of the most competitive real estate companies in the Caribbean. I have three daughters, whom I've been blessed to raise in a close and caring community that reflects important differences and great beauty. I awake each day to a view of the Caribbean and am reminded how fortunate I am to inhale the salt air and be part of this special island life.
