I was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley and after completing a 25 year career in the United States Air moved to Fluvanna County in 1997. Moving and buying houses frequently in the Air Force gave me a genuine appreciation for what needs to happen to make buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals. I recently earned the e-Pro professional certification sponsored by the National Association of Realtors. E-Pro Realtors take a comprehensive and interactive course designed to create a well trained, core group of real estate professionals who can use the latest technologies and strategies to give their clients the advantage needed in today’s challenging market. I also have earned the SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) designation and have earned the National Association of Realtors' Green designation which means I have significant knowledge about features, products and services that can make a property eco-friendly or energy efficient. Since I really enjoy working with people, I have concentrated all my efforts in residential real estate. I work with buyers and sellers and maintain an inventory of homes for sale at Lake Monticello and Fluvanna County. Homes listed through me will receive maximum exposure to the internet as well as local advertising sources. Over the last two years, I've also worked with Craig Builders and R.D. Wade Builders at Spring Creek, Sycamore Square, Mosby Mountain and Forest View. I am also very familiar with Jefferson Heights, a 55 and older community in Charlottesville.
