I was born in Forest Grove, Oregon in May of 1946 into a wonderful Navy family with two older siblings, one of which was my identical twin brother. We moved to Washington in 1966 for the second time and I have been a resident since then. I am currently a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Washington, since January 25th, 2006, working part time at it up until September 1st, 2006 when I retired from Federal Civil Service working for the Department of the Air Force at McChord AFB, WA. Highest Grade attained was GM-13 and having had the distinction of being the last Civilian Chief of Morale Welfare & Recreation on McChord AFB. I spent over 30 years in government service. 2 years and 5 months on Active duty in the Navy, 12 years in the Naval Reserve working for the Naval Security Group, 5 years as a Nonappropriated Fund employee working for the Air Force and 29 years as an Appropriated Fund employee working for the Air Force. In addition, I was a District Executive with the Mount Rainier Council of the Boy Scouts of America in Tacoma, WA for 3 years prior to going to work for the Air Force. I am a married Father, with one daughter and two grandaughters, currently living in Florida. I am fortunate to be married to a wonderful wife, orginally from Ireland, by the name of Mary who is currently a Counselor at the University of Washington (A Husky) and I am (A Cougar). We currently live in NE Tacoma, overlooking Brown's Point. We purchased a lot in 2000 and completed our dream home in December of 2002. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Recreation from Washington State University in January of 1973. "Go Coug's"! I have lived in a number of areas in Tacoma and vicinity including Lakewood, Steilacoom, University Place, Gig Harbor, Spanaway, Federal Way and of course Brown's Point. Plus, I've lived in a number of other different areas in the State of Washington to include: Bremerton, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Bellingham and Pullman.
