I have been a contributing member of our Oceanside community since teaching summer swimming at the beach as a teenager and have made Qualicum Beach my permanent residence for over 25 years ago. My husband, Steven Grauer, and I have raised our two children here and would not live anywhere else.
Prior to starting my career in real estate, I worked as a school teacher, operated a family Bed and Breakfast, and spent many years as a local event coordinator. My community involvement has been extensive; from long-time coordinator of the Rotary/Chamber Gala Auction, former Director of the Qualicum Beach Residents Association, former Director of the Parks and Recreation Commission, one of the founding Board members of Bard to Broadway Summer Theatre, and currently an active member of the Chamber of Commerce.
In 2003, I was the office manager for the successful “Rivers Edge” subdivision in Parksville and is an expert on that particular real estate project. Later, I went on to successfully market both “Benson Meadows” and “The Bluffs” for MacDonald Development.
